What is driver’s safety training all about?

How does a vehicle conduct itself in a borderline situation, how does one have to act correctly and especially safely, to prevent an accident successfully – all these are considerations and experiences, which most drivers, who visit Namibia, are sorely lacking. A driver’s safety- training constitutes a vital contribution towards your own safety on Namibian roads.

In our safety-training we simulate typical accident situations on Namibian gravel roads.

We will train you in driving techniques that will enable you to master critical driving situations more effectively, irrespective of whether you are an amateur or expert driver. You will learn to identify dangers on the road at an early stage both in theory and practice and you can test your personal and physical limits without any danger.

Our drivers themselves have been schooled by the German ADAC driving safety school in Bonn. Every year a specially trained coach from Germany offers our specialised safety-training course at Ababis.

The aim of our work is to guarantee you an increased level of driving safety on the Namibian roads, to explain dangerous situations so that you may drive more conscientious on our gravel roads and react with increased foresight, thus enabling an enhanced driver safety.
